You can customize the functionality of the Pimcore backend via permissions for individual users and roles. Some settings are not obvious.
This is also the case if you want to remove the menu item "Marketing settings" from the "Marketing" menu of the Pimcore backend. The menu item "Marketing Settings" is linked to the permission "Reports". If you deactivate the "Reports" permission, the "Marketing Settings" menu item will also disappear from the Pimcore admin panel.
